Yes. Our Heavy-Duty Solid Tiles are engineered from high-polymer PVC and rated to handle up to 8 tons of rolling vehicle weight per square meter. They are designed to withstand automotive lifts, floor jacks, and heavy workshop equipment without warping or cracking.
Absolutely. Our lighting systems are a favorite for fitness studios because the 6500K clarity helps with form correction and high-energy visibility. Our solid flooring tiles are excellent for gyms as they absorb vibration, protect your subfloor from dropped weights, and are sweat-resistant and easy to clean.
The standard 14-grid configuration measures approximately 15.8 ft x 7.9 ft (4.8m x 2.4m) with the outer frame. If you are installing the hex-grid without the outer frame, the area is approximately 13.1 ft x 7.9 ft (4.0m x 2.4m). Each individual LED tube is 17.3 inches (440mm) long.
The system is designed for a modular "Plug-and-Play" setup:
Layout: Assemble your grid on the floor first to verify the pattern.
Connect: Snap the tubes into the provided V, Y, or straight connectors firmly to ensure a secure electrical connection.
Mount: Use the included mounting clips and screws for drywall/wood ceilings, or nylon zip ties for drop-ceilings and metal grids.
Power: Plug the system into a standard 110V/220V outlet or have a professional hardwire it to a junction box.
While the system is DIY-friendly for plug-and-play use, we highly recommend a licensed electrician if you plan to hardwire the system to a ceiling junction box or a dedicated wall switch for a cleaner, hidden-wire look.
GarageHexs™ systems are compatible with 110V–240V power sources. A standard 14-grid system pulls approximately 245W–550W depending on the specific configuration. Always ensure your circuit can handle the wattage before installation.
Yes. Both our Pro-Drainage Mesh and Solid PVC tiles are manufactured to be resistant to oil, grease, gasoline, and most household chemicals. Spills can be wiped up immediately without staining or damaging the material.
The Pro-Drainage Mesh Tile features an open-profile design that allows water and debris to flow through—ideal for wash bays and detailing shops. The Heavy-Duty Solid Tile is a closed-surface solution designed for maximum floor protection and comfort in mechanics' workshops and home gyms.
Our lighting kits are fully modular. If a tube is damaged, you do not need to replace the whole system. Simply snap out the individual tube and replace it with a new one. We recommend keeping the spare tubes included in your kit for future maintenance.
